About Us The Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club was formally organized on November 11, 1926 for sport and national defense, and provides a controlled environment for individuals to exercise their God given right to keep and bear arms. KRRC offers a wide variety of activities for firearms enthusiasts/owners/users. The Club is a 501 (c) 7 non-profit organization and is dedicated to advancing the shooting sports as well as the necessary knowledge to safely and proficiently handle firearms in times of personal, community, state and national defense. Kitsap Rifle & Revolver Club owns 70+ acres of land located next to a Navy/Marine Corps training range, Camp Wesley Harris, and Kitsap County Parks and Recreation land. Our facilities feature lighted, covered pistol lines and rifle lines, and a number of 180, 270, and 360 degree shooting bays which can be configured for a variety of purposes. Our Club is governed by an Executive Committee, with counsel provided by the membership. Our general business meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at 7:30pm at the Sons of Norway Hall, 1018 18th Street in Bremerton right next to Olympic College off Warren Avenue. For more information on our governance, please read our bylaws. Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club is a not-for-profit organization that opens it's ranges regularly to the public anytime there is a Range Officer on duty. Generally there is regularly a Range Officer on duty:
Individuals donating $15 or more per person are thanked by being our guest and allowed access to a primary range. (For children through age 12 we do not ask for a donation when they are supervising an adult. ;) For ages 13 to 17 we ask to consider a $5 donation). Guests wishing to use our ranges need to bring their own firearms, ammunition, hearing and eye protection. All guests are required to fill out and sign an acceptance of responsibility and general liability release form and will be given a primary safety orientation. We also open our ranges for special events throughout the year where spectators are welcome to watch and/or participate. Check our calendar for scheduling. Military Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club is pleased to fully support the military. Many of our members, officers and instructors are veterans of the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. KRRC is used as a military small-arms training range. Homeland Security starts at home and Kitsap County, being a naval community, has a long, rich heritage of supporting all aspects of Navy life from firearms training for family members to supplemental qualification training. Please contact KRRC Executive Officer Marcus Carter at 360-373-1007 or education@gunsafety.org for information on military firearms qualifications or specialized military training programs offered at the Range. Law Enforcement Kitsap Rifle and Revolver Club fully supports the law enforcement personnel in Kitsap County and beyond. Associate membership is available for all law enforcement personnel that patrol regularly within Kitsap County. Specialized law enforcement training programs can be developed with our on-site firearms training company, National Firearms Institute. We also host the Annual Courage Classic Charity 3 Gun Championship Match which pits law enforcement teams from all over the region against each other to determine the Top Overall Department and the individual "Top Cop". Law enforcement qualification training is provided for local law enforcement personnel by contacting KRRC Executive Officer Marcus Carter at 360-373-1007 or education@gunsafety.org. |
