The intent is to move the google type calendar on the members page to this page when we re-open, and use it for our RO schedule.

After opening for shooting, for the public calendar: I will be talking us into spending a hundred bucks a year for an "Events Calendar". Instead of the normal grid, it allows you to create events with a header image, label, dates, details... Much like a Facebook event. It will display a few and provide scroller arrows. A lot of business websites use them. They look very modern, but there is still a small month selector at the top so people don't have to sit there and scroll through 44 things to get to what they're hunting for.
